Anniversary no cause for celebration

Thursday is the 31st anniversary of the Roe v. Wade decision by the Supreme Court changing the Constitution of the United States by allowing abortion by demand. In 1973, the year of the decision, the majority of Americans were against abortion. The Supreme Court arbitrarily ruled that abortion was legal; killing unborn children was legal.

Do you know how many unborn children have been killed in the last 31 years because of legal abortion? More than 42 million. Right now 1.2 million unborn children are killed each year; 3,300 unborn children are killed daily by surgical abortion.

We must stop taking human life, period. The unique dignity of human life is unbreakable; we are created in God’s own image. This is not a political game at all. We have no right to take human life arbitrarily, as abortion does.

An anniversary should be a happy time. This is not.
