Regarding the Aug. 20, Street Smarts column, I would like to address another off ramp exit that has its own free right-hand turn that isn’t observed by a lot of motorists. It’s the southbound exit onto 128th Street SW and the right turn onto 128th street. There is a free right-hand turn. There’s even a sign showing that the turn has its own lane.

I just wanted to point out to motorists that they can take the right-hand turn the same as the northbound exit to 172nd Street NE at Smokey Point. In other words, no stopping! There is plenty of room and time to move from that lane to the middle or far left lane. Keep the traffic moving. Isn’t that what everyone wants?
