Anti-Bush group can make difference

I am not happy or satisfied with the results of the 2004 election, nor with the “moral and ethical” decisions of an amoral and unethical administration. However, I am not defeated. I know what I can do.

I must buy goods and services that I have carefully thought about and know that my dollar will be a benefit and not a bullet.

I must hold accounts with companies and institutions that serve their customers with understanding, treat their employees with care and extend a helping hand to their community and world.

I must support the arts – attend movies, plays, symphonies, concerts and shows that are produced for the betterment of body, mind and spirit.

I must participate in improving my mind. Travel with a principled purpose. Go to museums and exhibits frequently. Take a class. Read well-written and well-reported material.

I must help humanity. Teach what I know to be true. Explore with others what I question. Learn what I can do and where I fit in. Then do it.

I must support the environment. Walk where I can and tread lightly. Drive with courtesy, efficiency and economy. Reduce my waste. Take care of the living.

I must know my abilities and limitations. Make my efforts thorough, productive and useful. Support others to do what I can’t.

I must rally behind beneficial causes and make my opinions known and evident. March with the masses for equality, diversity and generosity.

I will have fun, laugh and experience security and joy knowing my motives are right by measuring them against the greater good.

Evil cannot endure the active inspiration of good.
