Apology to Gates brings this reader back

For years I had read Julie Muhlstein’s articles, until the May 27, 1999 issue with the scurrilous, sarcastic display of jealousy regarding Bill and Melinda Gates’ baby. I vowed never again to read her column, and I didn’t until Dec. 28, when I was struck by the headline “Sorry about the trash talk, Mr. Gates.”

With that heartfelt apology, Julie has vindicated herself, and now I will again read her comments and look at her pretty face.
