I see articles about not enough homes and the push for accessory dwelling units (ADUs). I think back to the 1960s when my family moved to a town of 75,000 and there were only 11 homes for sale. Have times changed?
Focusing on the present, I don’t believe I have seen any conversation about all the homes people have purchased & turned into vacation rentals. Does this add to the shortage of homes available for families? I would think so. I could be wrong.
