Arlington Schools, Dist. 5: Knapp shows integrity, concern

I met Erica Knapp who is running for Arlington School Board District 5 during a community education class called Stronger Together. The class was hosted by Will Nelson of the Arlington School District and our topic dealt with how we as a community support all people, no matter the color, sexual orientation or identity. Erica stood out to me because she expressed herself with integrity and concern for others.

Erica has three children in the Arlington school district, so I see how she is invested personally in our schools by being an active member in the PTA. I believe because of her engagement in the schools she knows how the actions and policies of the school board directly affect the school staff and the students. I think that is a valuable asset.

Erica is also an artist which I believe is a strength in serving her community because she looks at issues with creative ways to approach ideas and bring solutions.

I will be voting for Erica Knapp for District 5 in Arlington School District.
