Regarding the Jan. 7 article, “Teens show they aren’t wild at heart”: I am a senior at Cascade High School and along with many of my classmates, I also spoke at the recent student forum and feel the article written was not in any way fair to the student body.
The reporter only gave one side of the story and even went as far as to label Cascade “a crop of conservatives” when in fact this is not true. Yes, many students are conservative like any other high school, but what about the rest who consider themselves liberal? The article was not fair to the majority of students at Cascade High School nor did it mention that other schools, such as Snohomish and Everett were also in attendance at the forum. Isn’t the first rule of reporting to state all the facts?
