Regarding the May 4 article, “Crash kills a milkman”: May I offer The Herald’s apologies to the family of the home delivery milkman? It would appear that The Herald was using his death as some sort of macabre opportunity to educate those who care about the advantages of home delivery dairy products.
At least The Herald can share the guilt with the Smith Brothers Dairy. Surely, somebody out there besides me was somewhat baffled over the comments of Smith Brother’s Dairy, assuring us that, “You can taste the freshness in our milk.” I’m not sure who has the most egg on their face, The Herald or Smith Brother’s Dairy, but from where I stand it looks pretty rotten.
