Artificial concept can’t create light

I have been following the daylight saving time discussion with amusement and would like to clarify some points.

DST is a joke, an artificial concept. The sun has no idea of what time your clock says. It’s still 12 hours of sun to a maximum of 16 hours back to 12 hours from the spring equinox to the summer solstice to fall equinox. You do not get more or less sun time with DST. There is no need to be springing forward and falling back every six or seven months. If you like it lighter in the evening get up an hour earlier in the morning and go to bed an hour earlier than standard time. That is how DST works. The pro-DST faction are a bunch of lemmings fooling themselves; happy landings!
