While I agree with the writer that posting “Gun Free Zone” signs have little to no bearing on actual safety, I disagree with his refrain — that we’ve heard from others before — that “the only way to stop a bad guy with a gun is a good guy with a gun.”
In the SPU shooting, the shooter was stopped by a good guy without a gun.
