I agree with the Oct. 9 letter about political ads as well as the signs. (“Their actions should speak louder.”)
They’ve been blowing smoke for years preying on the ignorant and uninformed, so let’s be real. The kissing of the baby just doesn’t work anymore.
There’s a lot more to worry about in this country than the war. The political, judicial, medical and occupational forums are in disarray.
We’ve heard promises of a better day for years, when in reality, people in this country are out for themselves and to heck with the rest of us.
We live in a do-as-I say, not-as-I do society and when you change hats, you change attitudes.
Most of us don’t have enough money to even be heard, much less understood.
We’re considered rebels and outcasts, when the truth is spoken. If we have to go to court for even a minor traffic offense, we’re made to feel very small by a person who has to believe he can walk on water.
The Forbes 300 millionaires have been replaced by billionaires, who continue to raise their price for merchandise or services by simply saying it’s due to the higher cost of doing business.
Most of us don’t get cost-of-living raises, we don’t work for this state.
I could go on and on, but there’s no need, as there is no one listening!
