On Wednesday, the Puget Sound Blood Center held a Blood Drive at Ebenezer Lutheran Church in Lake Stevens. As the parent of a beautiful child who has benefited many times from the generosity of these wonderful participants, I would like to express my gratitude.
I would like to thank the Puget Sound Blood Bank, the Lake Stevens Lions Club, American Legion Post 181, members of Ebenezer Lutheran Church, and all of the fabulous donors and volunteers.
A volunteer who was passing out cookies and juice to donors has already donated 128 units of his own blood to save the lives of others, possibly my daughter. A uniformed police officer rolled up his sleeve to make a donation, not only willingly, but cheerfully. I can’t thank these people enough. I encourage everyone who can, to please donate blood.
