I’ve just read your Wednesday article regarding the Tulalip Tribes’ wish for help funding the $50 million 116th Street overpass. Something is just not right here. I remember Boeing having to pay a huge amount of money to build roads around the area to ensure there would not be congestion before they were permitted to build their new facilities. Why was that not the case here? Also, am I mistaken or is the income from the Tulalip Casino and Quil Ceda Village not contributing to the taxes that pay for the roads to begin with? It seems to me that we are already paying more than our fair share.
