Front page Herald on Friday, “Clunk! Cash nearly on ‘E’.” Wow, what a surprise, another “stimulus” incentive devined by that Team of Change Mongers off track! Isn’t that a great vote of confidence?
I ask you, and your readers, how in the world could you ever consider handing over our health care to federal bureaucrats who can’t even estimate the national clunker demand? One puny little program among the thousands that was dreamed up by this current gang, and they couldn’t even get it right? These are the same folks who now promise to cut the cost of medical care and restructure the compensation paid to medical professionals based on the “quality vs. the quanitity” of their care.
Wake up, Snohomish County, the 535 folks back in D.C. who are running this country are taking us all for a ride in the Last American Clunker; we’re headed over a cliff and there’s not going to be a doctor at the local body shop to patch us up! Fix the major problems in the system we have, change the transmission, but don’t destroy the world’s best medical care infrastructure that 85 percent of Americans support.
