It is remarkable how this community has greatly supported the food bank these past two months – I am truly in awe. I really believed donations would be way down (because of the tragic events on the East Coast and the country’s economic weakness). I am so very thankful and amazed now more than ever to truly know this community’s capacity to care. We were able to give ample food and toys to over 400 families for the holidays.
It is our priority to continue to fulfill our mission of fighting hunger in a manner that respects the dignity of those we serve. I pledge to all who have donated that the vision, dedication and commitment to that mission will not change.
