I want to nominate Herald writer Bill Sheets, and quoted source Curt Low for one of the most startling examples of unintended irony I have seen in a long time.
Sunday’s lead story, “Return of the wolves” contains the following quote about wolves (emphasis mine):
“They’re a predatory animal and they follow the meat, and when it runs out they’re going to keep following,” said Curt Low of Arlington, an Everett fire captain who hunts deer and elk near Ellensburg.
