Change must be for the better

Enjoyed Eugene Robinson’s column on Donald Trump’s lies. He left out a lot of them, but to include them all would have taken up the whole paper! Factcheck said Trump has been the biggest liar they have researched in the last 12 years of its existence. Yet he has the gall to call Hillary and Ted Cruz liars. The fact is, Trump is a thin-skinned egomaniac who is not a conservative, not a Republican and certainly not a Christian! He has carried out personal attacks on just about everyone.

I challenge any Trump supporter to show me anywhere, in the bible where Jesus treated anyone the way “the Donald” does. He is a bigot, racist and misogynist. He once asked on one of the debates, “Who knows more about finance than me”? Well, evidently a lot of people are as he started Trump mortgage and ran it into bankruptcy within two years! He claims he will create jobs, but how many people lost their jobs with each of his four bankruptcies? How many people did he cheat out of millions of dollars with each bankruptcy? He was owner and chief officer in each case, yet insists he was not responsible. A lot of people want change. They are right to be upset that our Congress is more concerned with party dogma than with what is best for the country. I am for change, too, but I want change for the better and that is certainly not Trump.
