I grew up in a Republican household and consider myself to be an independent voter. I look at qualifications, educational background and community involvement when selecting a candidate.
Cindy Gobel has a law degree. Through the Secretary of State’s office, she has trained county auditors and election administrators regarding statewide election compliance.
Every candidate running in a nonpartisan race has values and opinions. Gobel is a Democrat but has demonstrated her ability to work across the aisle with her nearly three decades of experience in county and state government. I appreciate that she is upfront about her values outside the office while maintaining her ability to be nonpartisan when conducting business.
This independent voter is casting a vote for Cindy Gobel.
