Do attend the Snohomish County Tomorrow (SCT) meeting this evening to hear what Ron Sims, King County Executive has to say about King County sewer system, “Brightwater.” He will be giving his presentation to our county executive, our county council members, and all of our mayors of Snohomish County.
This meeting is very important, because the charter of SCT is to review all activity that impacts Snohomish County in its growth management and transportation activities.
This is a chance for the public to hear and inform its gathered elected city and county representatives of how they feel about the King County Brightwater Sewer System taking over South Snohomish County. However, the public doesn’t even seem to know about this important meeting that will have an affect on their lives and properties, so that they can respond to let their local government know what they think.
The meeting will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on the 4th floor of the Everett Station (the new rail/bus facility) just three blocks west of I-5.
The public may express their views both at the start of the meeting and again at its closing under “citizen comments” on the agenda. The wise resident will be there and speak up!
