Clemans has city’s best interests

Melody Clemans is running for Snohomish City Council, Position 3. Snohomish is my home. My husband and I moved here in 1988 and our son graduated from Snohomish High School. We love Snohomish and care very deeply about protecting our quality of life here.

Recently, Melody knocked on our door and talked to me at some length about our town and how she sees our future. Melody has lived in Snohomish her entire life. Her grandchildren are the fourth generation of her family to attend Snohomish schools. She has a huge investment in our town and its future. Among other things, Melody is a small business owner. Her company employs 30 people and is successful. She understands the importance of budgets and deadlines and commitment and hard work.

The city of Snohomish faces major challenges. We must find a way to broaden our tax base and attract business while protecting our quality of life and our wonderful town. After talking with Melody, I’m convinced she sincerely has the best interests of Snohomish at heart and she has my vote. I urge you to vote for her, too.
