Why is The Herald picking on Stanwood? Our second annual “Snow Goose Festival” is today and Sunday. We have people from all over the Northwest coming to hear lectures on our migratory birds and take field trips to see the splendid animals in a natural setting.
On Sunday you ran a huge front page picture of one of our more rundown buildings. On Tuesday, you ran another front page article about the “terrible snow goose problem” in our community. We are doing good work up here. Why don’t you come to town this weekend and look at the geese, swans, eagles, herons, etc., and see why we are one of the fastest growing communities in Snohomish County.
