Comment directed at another group

A correction to The Herald’s news article in the May 23 Herald (“Mukilteo residents speak their piece”): My comment about using the ballot box to replace incumbents was not directed toward Mayor Don Doran or the city council members. They are trying to do a good job with the Rosehill-City Hall exercise, and they are keeping our citizens involved.

The ballot box comment was aimed at the Water District’s Board of Governors who approved the construction of two very large Taj Mahal-type buildings, with extensive (read $$$) landscaping, and two (count them) expensive signs to house 12 employees. A gross waste of rate and taxpayer dollars.
