Congratulations to the citizens of Everett

I want to congratulate our entire community on earning the All-America City title. Everywhere I go people are congratulating me because I was a member of our delegation to go to Kansas City. Congratulate yourselves. The title belongs to Everett. It’s all of ours. I am very excited to see how our community uses the All-America logo and title in everything from the Everett All- America Sandwich, to the Everett All-America Latte.

If you want to deepen your understanding of this All-America Title, visit the National Civic League website. The message behind this title is awe-inspiring. The values of being an inclusive community which takes on serious problems is worth waking up in the morning for each day.

Cheers to Everett! I am so proud to be part of this very special community.
