It is time now to turn our thoughts to the people in our area who are hurting. With the slowdown in the economy and a big increase in layoffs, some people are facing financials hardships.
Please help in any way that you can by donating warm clothing, blankets and shoes. Checks of any amount would also help greatly for other needs, such as food and shelter.
Donations can be sent to the Salvation Army, 9620 State Street, Marysville, 98270; Volunteers of America, 1230 Broadway, Everett, 98201; St. Vincent De Paul, 6424 Broadway, Everett, 98203 or any agency that will distribute the donated items.
I’m sure that anything that you give will be greatly appreciated and at the same time, you’ll feel great just by showing your love and concern in a time of need.
