Our Western and Southwest states are facing possibly their worst drought conditions ever.
Many reservoirs are down 50 percent to 60 percent and may not be able to provide enough water to their customers. Also, farmers may not have enough irrigation for crops, and electricity may not be sufficient for air conditioning. As temperatures skyrocket, there won’t be enough for fighting fires.
What can we do? We could build water pipelines! We have oil pipelines crisscrossing the country, why not water pipelines? We could pump water from areas that have periodic catastrophic flooding to supply our reservoirs. We spend (waste) billions going to other planets, building 5G networks, invading countries, etc. It’s time to build water pipelines before it’s too late, if it isn’t already.
