County auditor: Gobel will work to improve turnout

Voters are not voting. Only a fourth to a third of our voters are voting in local elections which means our democracy is not working. Very small minorities are deciding our future. Are you OK with that? I’m not!

Same-old same-old will not cut it. That’s why we need Cindy Gobel as our auditor. She is willing to look at our voting process and ask the critical question, “How can we encourage more voter participation?”

Traditionally, the auditor counts the votes. But there is a lot more than that which includes efficient, timely, accurate information on what, when, and who we vote for. But Cindy will not be a passive auditor who just counts votes.

She wants to be sure we know where to vote, when to vote, and most importantly, why to vote. For this, we need Cindy Gobel for auditor.

If you care about a strong democracy, vote for Cindy Gobel!
