Snohomish County recently announced that it will take public testimony in the next couple of weeks on the Critical Areas Ordinance, or CAO. As you may recall, this was a highly charged issue in King County, where owners of rural lands lost control of up to 65 percent of their own property as a result of environmentalists who lobbied the county. We can’t let that happen here!
Please make sure you call your councilmen and tell them that the CAO has served us well and not to make major changes.
