Dedicated firemen raised my spirits

I have been taking your paper for years. Like the rest of us, we see a lot of crime articles. Recently you had an article about six local firemen who took it upon themselves to learn to play the drums and bagpipes. (Sept. 27, “Snohomish County firefighters perform at memorial for fallen.”)

With no music training, they were not only good, but able to travel where they were joined by other firemen and performed. It brought some much needed relief from crime, etc., to my day.

I just wanted to recognize them and say, “Job well done.”
