I’m writing to comment on the Tuesday article “Best for Bicyclists” in the Sports section of the Herald. While I’ve been very disheartened by the virtual takeover of Georgia by Russia in recent months, that concern pales, in comparison, to the news (according to the map with the article) that New Hampshire has now taken over Delaware. Curious behavior, indeed, by a state whose motto is “Live Free or Die.” Even curiouser that after all these years, two of the original 13 colonies have risen against each other … over bike trails? Though a small state, I don’t believe Delaware did anything to warrant this apparent attack by cyclists from New Hampshire. The fact that this was never even mentioned in the article left me totally confused.
