Kudos to Stephen Goodwin for expressing the views of so many in his letter of Sept. 24 (“Neighborhoods: Beauty is being destroyed”). I am a longtime resident of Brier on Locust Way, one of the streets he mentioned. I am heartbroken about the destruction, real and planned, taking place in our neighborhood. It is quickly becoming the concrete jungle that we tried to escape.
I cannot comprehend the mentality that allows this to go on. Unfortunately, big money seems to be the only voice that is heard anymore.
