I was very saddened to hear about the changes coming for paper delivery (“A letter from the publisher,” The Herald, Dec. 25). The best part of my day has been getting up early, fixing a cup of tea, and reading the Herald in the morning. And then doing the crossword and word jumble after breakfast. With the paper coming in the mail now, I won’t be able to read it until late afternoon or evening because our mail doesn’t come until usually sometime after 3 p.m. Disappointing, but I understand the way things are now with getting folks to take available jobs. Times have changed.
Hopefully The Herald will continue to get the news out for years to come. Have a great 2023!
