Distortions have hurt reputation

The United States of America has never seen times, or an election, as perilous as this in centuries. Our government and constitution have been horribly undermined by the current Republican administration.

There is nothing wrong with being a Democrat or Republican.

There is everything wrong with the shameful lies and deceits being perpetrated by the Republican Party and its supporters on national and local levels.

Misinformation and distortions on behalf of local candidates Mike Shelton and April Axthelm are abominable subversions of truth.

Mary Margaret Haugen and Dean Enell are campaigning with honesty and integrity and neither would allow such untruthful and misleading smears in their name.

Sen. Haugen has represented us effectively and well, with honor and integrity, and deserves to be re-elected so long as she is willing and able to serve.

Dean Enell is an intelligent, wise, insightful, practical, far-sighted and honorable gentleman who will serve us well as commissioner.

When candidates, and those who support them, take facts and statements out of context, distorting the truth from what actually happened, they bring dishonor and shame upon themselves.

Vote for truthfulness and integrity. May wisdom, truth and integrity guide the United States of America.
