Beyond studying the candidates and issues on the ballot, perhaps we need to consider who is sponsoring these “items.”
If you are not as well versed as we all would like to be, one clue might be who has the most, largest campaign signs and TV ads. They are expensive to produce. Then we might question those with the largest resources of funds as to who they would really represent if elected.
If you are not a member of a large group with financial resources made available to candidates and issues, would you truly be represented or are we easily persuaded to vote according to repetitious messages?
Hopefully we will take the time to evaluate our choices using our voter pamphlets.
