How is it that our County Council can consider raising our car tabs? Haven’t we, the citizens of Washington state, voted “no” on raising our car tabs for years now? Every time we turn around, our car tab costs keep escalating anyway. For instance, R.T.A. tax, weight tax, license fee, service fee, agent fee, reflectorizing and buying new plates after seven years.
I’m sure that the council can conjure up some more ways to tax our tabs and “vote” on them too, such as: rating the horsepower of your motor; what size carburator(s) it has; how many fuel injectors it has on it; single or duel exhaust; its fuel efficiency; and how many gallons of fuel will it carry!
With these trying times, with our economy going downhill and with prices of everything going up, along with the exorbitant cost of living in this area, can the County Council “vote” to please stop the bleeding!
