The Sue Moyer story (“Moving generations,” Sept. 22) was both inspiring and heartwarming. In a society where the feeling is pretty much, “out with the old and in with the new,” here is a woman who saw an ancient farmhouse, doomed for the bulldozer, and recognized the potential for its resurrection. This story reminded me of a movie I never tire of watching, starring Kathy Bates and her fictional Lacey Tribe, “A Home of Their Own.”
It shows what we women are capable of when we have the drive and the dream.
