Earling has honesty and integrity

I think this year’s race for county executive is very important to the future of Snohomish County. There are many critical decisions that need to be made to fix the county budget, create more jobs, build the right roads and take on Snohomish County’s methamphetamine problem. I’m endorsing Dave Earling for county executive because he has the experience and the integrity to make those decisions and make them right.

As a Marysville City Councilwoman, I know it will take someone with Dave’s experience as president of the Edmonds City Council to understand everything that needs to be fixed in county government. While experience is important, the values of our next county executive are important too.

I know from working with Dave Earling that he has the honesty and the integrity to always be straightforward with the voters he serves. That’s important to my family, and I appreciate that Dave believes in the values that will make Snohomish County a family friendly place to live and work.

Elections don’t always offer clear choices, but this race does. Dave Earling has the experience and integrity that families should expect from our next Snohomish County executive.

FILE — Federal agents arrest a protester during an active immigration enforcement operation in a Minneapolis neighborhood, Jan. 13, 2026. The chief federal judge in Minnesota excoriated Immigration and Customs Enforcement on Wednesday, Jan. 28, saying it had violated nearly 100 court orders stemming from its aggressive crackdown in the state and had disobeyed more judicial directives in January alone than “some federal agencies have violated in their entire existence.” (David Guttenfelder/The New York Times)
