Our daughter moved out of state a few months ago and shortly after her arrival she registered to vote. A couple weeks ago she received a card at our home from the Snohomish County Auditor asking her to confirm her current address, sign and return the card. I determined I could not forward it to her and have her return it before ballots would be sent out. I decided if she received a ballot at our home that I would return it to the auditor.
When we received our ballots last weekend, one did not arrive for her. I must admit I was pleasantly surprised. I did not know our states were connected in such a way. I believe this demonstrates the integrity of our voting systems here in Snohomish County and Washington state as well as our daughter’s current location.
recently, our daughter let us know she received a postcard from Snohomish County at her new address. It asked her to confirm her address and if she still resides in Washington or is in the military. Another positive sign of election integrity.
