I have been watching TVW’s coverage of Washington’s House and Senate debates.
With the Democrats firmly in control, meaningful election reforms have been eliminated, money-saving governmental reforms are being defeated, taxes are being increased, social programs are going full steam ahead and other vital programs and issues are almost uniformly being bent to fit the Democrat’s social engineering agenda. The Democrats even refused to require photo ID at the polling places. One can only shake their head and wonder why, especially after the last election.
As I watch the amendments and bills being debated, I can see the frustration on the faces of the Republicans who seem to have virtually given up hope for any sanity to emerge in this session. Sometimes I wonder why they just don’t walk out.
Unfortunately, courtesy of King County elections manager Dean Logan, Democrat Christine Gregoire will be governor long enough to sign all these bills.
May God have mercy on the taxpayers and employers of the state of Washington; it is certain that the Democratic Party has none.
