Regarding the article, “State files civil charges against Reardon, former aide”: After reading how Aaron Reardon and Kevin Hulten are now being charged by so-called “state election watchdogs,” I have to say something.
It was bad enough that the reporters Scott North and Noah Haglund harangued Reardon and Hulten for years, but now after more than four years, for the state to take this further is absolutely ludicrous!
Believe it or not, at the time, when we kept reading and reading more, it seemed that while Reardon and Hulten were in the wrong about a number of things, North and Haglund’s egos were abounding with every word. And the Herald, it seemed promoted this.
Bad enough that it cost the taxpayers the money it did at the time, but now, how much more has the state’s investigation cost us? This is as bad as some of the congressional hearings that go on and on and on and then have nothing to show for it except money spent at the taxpayer’s expense.
I’m sickened by this reporting. God knows there are so many things that these two could be reporting on. It only makes me think that this is a revenge reporting job.
Enough!
