I don’t seem to find any mention of the recent Mill Creek council meeting related to the closed hearing on Adopt-a-Streams and Rivendale I issues with Rivendale II. I heard talk of insignificant wetlands. How insignificant can they be? One snowflake is insignificant, but roofs have been known to collapse under snow.
At what point will the cumulative elimination of insignificant wetlands cause the collapse of an ecological system? Why is Mill Creek making final decisions on matters that affect the county? Someone needs to be seeing the whole picture before irreversible damage is done. Hopefully we’re still talking at a local level though at some point we could be talking nationally.
