Everett City Council: Rhyne dedicated, compassionate

Recently, like many of us, I attended the Hands Off event put on by Snohomish County Indivisible at the Courthouse plaza. Demi Chatters, a former city council contender that lost to Scott Bader was in attendance and a speaker at this event.

Wow, what an absolute loss for the citizens of the City of Everett that she was not elected because she didn’t have the branding and influence of Mr. Bader. It’s unfortunate for us Everett residents because she has the heart, compassion, intelligence, education, vision and understanding of what it takes to uplift all in society.

My hope is that more of us are paying better attention to who truly ‘gets us’ in our time of need. We have an opportunity to not make that mistake again by re-electing Paula Rhyne to her current council position over the shiny new face backed by old Everett money. Paula’s dedication and compassion is unmatched by her competition. Let’s get this right Everett.
