Fine to witness generous gesture

While working the Lions 19-B Oberto Stand at the Seahawks game on Sept. 23, I experienced a very heart-warming event. A young man ordered a hot dog, stating at the time: “I have been out of the Marine Corps for four days and have really been looking forward to this.” A gentleman standing beside him asked if he had paid for the hot dog yet. Being told “no,” he told the young man he wanted to pay for it, as he was also an ex-Marine and would be honored to pay. This made me feel real good.
