Fireworks bring fear, not fun

Ditto to the letter on July 20 (“Fourth of July: Monroe must outlaw fireworks”).

The writer would like the City of Monroe to ban fireworks within the city limits. Let’s go a little further and ban fireworks in the whole state of Washington except for professional shows. There is no reason a neighborhood should have to fear or hate the coming of the Fourth of July each year.
