To the food bank thief:
I hope that the lawn mower, leaf blower and fuel that you stole the week of July 29 from the Marysville Community Food Bank are serving you well. I truly hope that you were in such desperate need that this equipment meant the difference between life and death and you survived as the result of your deed.
If it didn’t make that difference to you, and you are in need, I would much prefer that you come to the food bank so that we may serve you food. The items you took are important to us. They don’t provide food for the needy, but they do help us keep the food bank looking respectable so as to create a welcoming environment for those who do come here for food.
If you find it in your heart to rectify what you have done, please return what you have taken from the community. Or, it would be nice if once a week, when we arrive to the food bank to do our work, we find a mysteriously mowed lawn.

Director, Marysville Community Food Bank
