Regarding the Thursday article, “Safety long a concern for road involved in fatal wreck”:
I am very sorry for the families and friends of the two young people who lost their lives as a result of the tragedy that happened on Nov. 14.
We all would be quick to put the blame on conditions or design of the roadway, but in reality it was the poor judgment of the driver that led to this unfortunate accident. If everyone obeyed the posted speed and/or didn’t drive impaired, there would be far, far fewer deaths on the roads. So when you are late for something, or have been out partying, be aware that your actions could affect the lives of innocent people. This happens way too much.
