Generous support helps even more kids

Thanks to the ongoing and generous support of the community and the caring and commitment of our member volunteers, this was a record year for Operation School Bell. We provided new school clothing to more than 2,600 children on site in our wonderful facility, and we expanded our Teen Retail program to clothe 702 Snohomish County high school students through our partnership with Fred Meyer stores. In addition, this year we celebrated a milestone of clothing 50,000 children since our inception in 1965.

The money that makes these programs possible comes primarily from your donations to, and patronage of, our beautiful Thrift Shop. Estate sales are another important source of funds, as well as our annual auction. We are also thankful to the many businesses that support us through generous grants and auction donations.

But it takes more than money to clothe children who come through our doors; our volunteers put in many, many hours behind the scenes, making sure everything runs smoothly. They are your friends and neighbors who are truly dedicated to improving the lives of Snohomish County children in need. I also want to thank the staff at the schools we serve, including the many volunteer drivers who transport children to and from Operation School Bell.

Building on our mission to promote the well-being and self-esteem of children, teens and adults in Snohomish County, and with your continued support, we are committed to grow and improve the services we provide.
