Get the facts straight first

This is in regard to the Everett High School name tags debate. Letter writer Joel Jenkins is the one to have missed the point in his Sept. 14 letter, “EHS name tags: Adding to financial burden.” If he had taken the time to make one phone call to Everett High School and check out his facts, he would never have written at all. The ID cards are free and supplied by the school. ASB cards are still a voluntary purchase. In the top right corner of the card there are two yes or no questions. One of those questions is whether it is also an ASB card or not. I do know because my son goes to Everett High School.
