One can agree that America today isn’t necessarily a racist country, yet these past few years it’s been hard to ignore the increasing open presence of racism showing up at several of our local high schools here in Washington and across the nation. There have been racial slurs, threats and other forms of intimidation directed mostly toward kids of color, many too terrified to attend school anymore.
Some of y’all can think and say what you will, but here’s the rub folks; our sweet babies aren’t born with prejudices, are they?
