In response to Monday’s article, “Motorcycles rev up discord”: What a shame it is that you can’t own a piece of property and do something that you enjoy doing on it. In Joey Ensminger’s case, riding his quad.
One of Ensmingers’ neighbors says “the noise is just unbearable.” Give me a break! How much more unbearable could the noise of a motorcycle be than, say, the noise of a neighbor using a chipper to dispose of some tree limbs, or the sound of a pressure washer running for hours to clean a roof or a driveway?
Some people have nothing better to do than complain about other people’s business or try to ruin the fun for someone else. Those people who do complain need a hobby and perhaps should try riding a quad or a motorcycle and see what all the fun is about.
