This is to thank Gov. Jay Inslee for signing legislation to make animal cruelty a felony. I am in hopes that every state implements it. Cruelty is cruelty, and if you can be unkind to any animal, what kind of person are you? And should we worry about it, you being part of society?
And thank you to the city of Everett and Snohomish County for reconsidering its “dangerous dog” ordinance. It will give every dog and every breed a chance.
At this point I feel like a proud Washingtonian.
